Baptism at Messiah

Baptism is not just plain water, but it is the water included in God’s command and combined with God’s Word. God Himself instituted Baptism, for our Lord Jesus Christ commanded His church to baptize all nations. Baptism promises the forgiveness of sins, rescues from death and the devil, and gives eternal salvation to all who believe this—as the words and promises of God declare!

Baptism is for all ages.

Baptism at Messiah St. Charles

To schedule a baptism at Messiah:

1. Attend the baptism class. This class is offered once a month on the third Sunday at 10:30AM. It is required for every baptism, even if you have taken the class previously. You can register online or contact the church office. Children are welcome to accompany parents, or they can visit the Nursery or attend MessiahKIDS. Register for the baptism class.

2. Choose either service (9:00 or 10:30) on the second or fourth Sunday of the month.  Contact the church office to schedule a date and time. The baptism officiant is determined by the worship schedule. Due to the fluctuating nature of the schedule, requests for officiants will not be honored. More than one family may choose the same date and time for a baptism. Because baptism is a public declaration of faith and God does not place limits on the number of His children He will welcome into His family, we do not reserve dates and times.

3. Turn in your baptism form at least two weeks ahead of your baptism date.
