Many common one-liners that sound spiritual are actually lies that have wormed their way into our Christian vernacular. While typically well-meaning, these pithy statements can cause harm and degradation of our Christian influence because they are simply not what Scripture teaches. Instead of offering pithy statements to the world that are designed to make us feel better, what if we instead offer an invitation to truly know one another and God Himself?
