After spending centuries in slavery, the Israelites were delivered out of Egypt and experienced freedom for the first time. If you think they’d be praising God and worshiping Him for all He has done for them, you’d be wrong. Instead of thanking God for hearing their cries, they’re wondering what He has done for them lately. Somehow this relationship needs to be restored, and Moses again comes to the rescue.
