Confirmation offers 7th and 8th grade students the opportunity to make their faith in Jesus Christ personal. Through fun, inspirational large group teaching and small group discussion, the Christian life comes alive. Confirmation is not the “end” of one’s faith journey, nor is it equivalent to salvation. Confirmation students affirm they are on a personal journey to know Christ more.

Due to COVID-19, Confirmation for 7th and 8th grade students is going virtual this fall. Please read on for some important information:

1.) Registration is required. Binders can be picked up from the church office during normal business hours (8am-4pm). Students will also need an NIV Bible as well as Luther’s Small Catechism. We have a limited number of NIV Bibles that are available on a first-come, first-served basis. They will be available in the church office.
2.) Weekly videos will be sent out each Monday, starting September 21.
3.) Memory work and worship notes are still requirements, as are the weekly fill-in-the-blank lessons.
4.) 8th grade students and their parents should plan on attending an in-person Life Verse essay meeting on Wednesday, October 7 at 7:00 p.m. in the sanctuary.
5.) We hope to meet back in-person on Wednesday, January 6, 2021.
