Raise the Roof | Messiah St. Charles Church

Let’s make room FOR more.

Since our beginning in 1987, God has used Messiah to boldly step in faith to connect people to Jesus. Many generous people have sacrificially given their time and talent to grow Messiah’s ministry. Now, current spaces are hindering growth and constraining our ability to say “yes” to gospel-sharing opportunities God places before us. It doesn’t have to stay this way! In Luke 5, a group of friends tore a hole in a roof to lower their loved one to Jesus. Messiah wants to be that kind of church! Raise the Roof is a two-year generosity initiative that will enable us to do and be more. Through sacrificial commitments, we will expand Messiah to include dedicated worship space, a kid’s ministry area, congregation gathering spaces, and expanded parking. Growing our church will also grow the number of families we can spiritually impact through the school. What an opportunity to be an even bolder and brighter light!

We can do this… but we can only do this together.

It’s not too late to make a commitment!

Pray

Pray that God will work in the hearts of His people at Messiah and that we will listen with the intent to obey.

Give

The primary goal of this initiative is 110% Engagement.
That begins with your decision to listen to God and make a sacrificial commitment to this Raise the Roof initiative that will take your faith to a whole new level of generosity.

Support

We also need you to stand with us in support of this initative and lend your influence of others to do the same.

Celebrate

God is going to do some amazing things as we launch this initiative. Let’s be poised and ready to celebrate in a big way.

Aspirational Goal: 110% Engagement

We pray this season inspires everyone who calls Messiah their church home to step out in faith. In fact, we’re boldly praying for people who don’t call Messiah their church home to participate—that’s where the 110% comes into play! Raise the
Roof is about more than raising capital for a building—it’s about elevating our trust in Jesus and following where He leads.
