9:00 a.m. (CST) service will be livestreamed and available on demand

Reopening Messiah Lutheran Church

Service Times: Sunday 9:00 a.m. | Sunday 10:30 a.m.

(The 9:00 service is broadcast live and available on demand.)

Messiah is so glad to welcome you back to in-person worship on Sunday mornings! We are balancing our desire to worship and gather as a church community with the need to adhere to best practices and recommendations from government and health officials regarding social distancing. All guidelines for opening will be communicated on this page.

In-person worship is Sunday morning at 9:00 and 10:30(CST). Both services are identical. The 9:00 service is livestreamed and available on demand on our YouTube channel.

These services are both in the prime time that is most convenient for people to worship on a Sunday morning to even out attendance, maximize resources, and minimize risk. Outside doors will open 20 minutes prior to the start of each service, so please keep that in mind when planning your arrival time.

We will be operating at a reduced seating capacity. Staff hosts will lead the seating process. Chairs will be set up in accordance with social distancing standards. In the event that we reach our seating capacity, overflow space will be available in The Commons to watch the livestream. Reservations will not be required or accepted. The 9:00 service is expected to be the most crowded.

The Lord’s Supper has resumed. We will advertise the dates ahead of time on our weekly emails and social media channels. Please call the office at 636-926-9773 if you wish for a Spiritual Care Pastor to bring Communion to you.

Wearing masks is encouraged, but it is not a requirement for worship.

MessiahKids has resumed meeting in-person. Visit the Kids page for more information on the safety measures in place.

Coffee and donuts will not be served until further notice.
